I said hey diddle diddle, I’m in the middle of a pickle: Can I remain on a narrow beam between the immortal visions and dreams and recorded historical facts? Come and witness the balancing act as I take a little gamble between the hammer and the anvil
I’m on the horns of a dilemma, each side will condemn-a-me to a most perilous of fate, as I sail through the direst of straits: I walk the wire or expire: the frying pan or the fire: a psychological quandary: as I’m caught between the devil and the deep blue sea
Do I embrace the phantasms of the mind or have the daughters of memory fabled me blind?: Between a concretized history, and a distorted shadow of a mystery: between a physical presence, and a spiritual essence: a deductive syllogism, and a swirling mysticism: between logic and the infinite abyss: between the ego and the unconscious: a metaphysical maelstrom, and a reef of realism: I’m sucked into a deadly waterhole, or I end up shipwrecked on the shoal: Into the vortex that sucks and spits, or get bit by the six head bitch
Between Scylla and Charybdis
Between Scylla and Charybdis
Between the Earth and the celestial planes: between the left and right side of the brain: when the one side thinks it’s the boss, you get a little bit of Paradise Lost: between a Faustian bargain, and pretentious esoteric jargon: between the mental categories I set, and the cords of Indra’s net
Waking life and emanation from the One, hypostasis of the Father and the Son, consubstantial with potential at it’s most: entelechy through the Holiest of Ghosts: If you follow on the trail I blaze, know that I will not emerge unscathed: Take heed to the stream I trace between a rock and a very hard place
